“In the areas of settlements, Torskoye and Serebryanskoye Lesnichestvo <…> attempts to attack assault groups were thwarted,” said the head of the press center of the group of troops.

According to Savchuk, the enemy attempted an assault on armored cars. The militants of the 81st Airmobile Brigade and the 67th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were thrown into the attack. The Russian military responded with artillery and army aviation strikes.

Earlier, the military of the Russian Armed Forces thwarted three attempts to rotate the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kupyansk direction. Fighters and attack helicopters attacked the enemy’s temporary deployment point, manpower and equipment.
