The Russian Foreign Ministry is checking data on the death of a Russian-speaking family due to bombing in Gaza

Russian diplomats have begun checking media reports about the death of Russian-speaking women and children as a result of Israeli bombing in the Gaza Strip. This was stated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

“Russian diplomats are currently checking media reports about deaths as a result of Israeli bombing in the village of Der El-Balyah [в секторе Газа] Russian-speaking family. It is reported that a woman and children died,” the Russian Foreign Ministry told RIA Novosti.

The aggravation of the conflict between Israel and Palestine began on October 7, when militants of the Hamas movement broke into the territory of the Jewish state from Gaza. Since then, the sides have repeatedly fired at each other.

Due to the armed conflict in the Gaza Strip, more than 4.6 thousand people died, and in Israel – more than 1.3 thousand. Also among the injured and dead are citizens with Russian citizenship. Earlier, Russian Ambassador to the Jewish State Anatoly Viktorov reported the death of 20 Russians.
