The Russian Foreign Ministry appreciated Zelensky’s idea to rename Russia to Muscovy

The proposal by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to rename “Russia to Muscovy” is another manifestation of Kiev’s course towards the creation of “anti-Russia,” Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on her Telegram channel on March 11.

As previously reported IA REGNUM, Zelensky instructed the government to study “the possibility of renaming Russia to Muscovy.” The reason for this initiative was a petition drawn up in November last year.
