Valve announced on its Twitter the release of the second part of the first-person team shooter Counter-Strike.
The first gameplay videos of the game appeared on the official YouTube channel of the company. No announcements were made on the official Valve website.
It is known that the Counter-Strike remake was developed on the Source 2 engine. As Valve said, due to this, lighting improved on the maps, and it was also possible to achieve physically accurate textures, light and reflections.
On the first videos you can see the differences between Counter-Strike 2 and its predecessor. Among the changes are mission maps redesigned from scratch on the new engine and updated smoke grenades.
