The prosecutor’s office will monitor the Utair flight to Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, which was delayed for more than 15 hours

Utair airline flight to Surgut was delayed at Khanty-Mansiysk airport. The Ural Transport Prosecutor’s Office reports that the flight is scheduled for 8 a.m. on September 29, and compliance with the rights of passengers is under the department’s control.

“At the airport in Khanty-Mansiysk, flight number TUM116 of UTair Airlines, en route Khanty-Mansiysk – Surgut, was delayed for departure. Departure is scheduled for 08:00 on 09/29/2023. The Surgut Transport Prosecutor’s Office monitors the provision of services to passengers,” the department’s telegram channel reports.

Currently, all passengers are accommodated in a hotel and provided with food and drinks. According to the online scoreboard, the flight was supposed to depart at 16:20. The delay occurred due to poor weather conditions and, accordingly, the late arrival of the aircraft.

Earlier, at the Khanty-Mansiysk airport, the plane to Berezovo was delayed for three and a half hours. The airport information service cited unfavorable weather conditions at the destination as the reason for the flight delay.
