Russian entrepreneurs enter the Kherson region of Ukraine, said the head of the pro-Russian administration of the region Volodymyr Saldo. According to him, Crimean and Donetsk businessmen are opening supermarkets.
“Russian entrepreneurs are coming. They are not afraid of sanctions pressure, sanctions risks… Stores are opening. Come Crimean and Donetsk entrepreneurs. Open the first supermarkets and saturate them with goods. The markets are all working,” said Mr. Saldo on the air of the Soloviev Live program.
Mr. Saldo also claims that large Russian banks are planning to open their branches in the Kherson region of Ukraine. According to him, one bank is already operating.
Since February 24, Russia has been conducting a military operation in Ukraine on the orders of President Vladimir Putin. He said that Moscow’s plans did not include the occupation of Ukrainian territories. The Russian army controls the Kherson region and part of the Zaporozhye region.
