The President signed the law on fixing the boundaries of forest parks in the USRN

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on fixing the boundaries of forest park green belts in the Unified State Register of Real Estate (EGRN). The document was posted on March 18 on the official Internet portal of legal information.

In particular, the EGRN will now include the details of the decision of the state authority of the region on their establishment, change of borders or abolition. The border details will also include a graphical description of their location.

Previously, the law “On Environmental Protection” required the boundaries of forest park green belts to be included in the USRN, but another law, “On State Registration of Real Estate”, did not regulate this issue. The regulation prepared by the government has eliminated this gap, it will make information about forest parks public and provide them with additional protection.
