The number of victims of the terrorist attack by Ukrainian nationalists who attacked two villages in the Bryansk region on the morning of March 2 has increased to two. The governor of the region Alexander Bogomaz announced this in his Telegram channel.

Earlier Thursday, Parlamentskaya Gazeta wrote about an attack by saboteurs on the village of Lyubechane in the Klimovsky district of the region. Then the head of the subject said that the units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation were taking measures to eliminate criminals. Later it became known that the attackers invaded another village, Sushany.

Then Bogomaz said that as a result of the actions of the criminals, the driver of the car died and the boy of 2012 was injured. He was taken to the regional hospital, according to the official, nothing threatens the life of the young man. Then the FSB also reported that a local resident had died during the attack.

“According to updated information, as a result of the actions of the DRG in the village of Lyubechane, Klimovsky district, the number of dead civilians increased to two people. A man born in 1966 died. The operational services are taking the necessary measures,” the governor said in the publication.

As Parlamentskaya Gazeta wrote, Russian President Vladimir Putin called the attack in the region a terrorist act. During a teleconference with Pyatigorsk in honor of the opening of the Year of the Teacher in the Russian Federation, the head of state noted that the attackers opened fire on the car, although they saw that there were children in it.
