The new overpass in Anikeevka will reduce the travel time to the village of Nakhabino by up to 20 minutes

According to the head of the Ministry of Transport of the region Alexei Gerzhik, the builders began to build from the seventh to the 12th pillar of the overpass from the side of the Volokolamsk highway. They also continue to concrete walls with a length of 56 and 76 meters. They will minimize the width of the roadway.

“We also started preparing the territory for the construction of an overpass from the side of the Novorizhskoye highway,” he added.

Communications are also being rebuilt at the facility, a storm drain, a parking lot and sites of the Northern TPU are being built.

According to the project, the length of the traffic interchange will be 1.4 kilometers, and the overpass – 410 meters. The facility will provide a safe transport connection between the two parts of Anikeevka, including for emergency services.

The construction is carried out under the national project “Safe High-Quality Roads” and is associated with the development of the MCD-2. They plan to open traffic there next year.

Earlier, the governor of the Moscow region, Andrey Vorobyov, said that sewer systems would be modernized in six districts this year. He recalled that last week the presidential envoy in the Central Federal District held a conference call related to the topic of flooding.
