BMD-4M armored vehicles, which are produced by Kurganmashzavod, helped the Novorossiysk paratroopers destroy the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with personnel in the Zaporozhye direction. The surviving nationalists fled from the battlefield, abandoning their weapons and equipment. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

“A reconnaissance group of the Airborne Forces, using drones, discovered a platoon stronghold of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. An armored landing group using BMD-4M armored vehicles was sent to destroy it. The crews of the armored group destroyed a large number of Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel from indirect fire positions. The surviving nationalists hastily fled, abandoning their weapons and equipment,” says the department’s group on the VKontakte social network.

Earlier, URA.RU wrote that Kurgan BMP-3s helped the landing force to defeat Ukrainian Armed Forces units near Bakhmut. Armored vehicles produced by the Kurganmashzavod defense enterprise have been helping the Russian army since the beginning of the special operation in Ukraine.
