A musical image of Perm was created using a neural network. The media reported this.

“The VEB.RF Corporation has developed a musical portrait of Perm using music and a neural network. The project was implemented at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech),” reports the online publication “Text”.

According to the publication, specialists collected various musical works and brought them to colleagues from the Museum of Music. Then, using the data obtained at Skoltech, the neural network created tracks of cities, including Perm. You can find a point on the map with the name Perm and listen to what the city sounds like on the website listencity.rf.

Earlier, at the OMK Chusovsky plant (Perm region), they conducted an experiment, turning photographs from the plant’s production into masterpieces of painting. To do this, using a neural network, photos of the plant were combined with famous paintings by world artists.
