The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation included cars of more than 10 brands in the list of parallel imports

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia included more than 10 brands of cars in the list of parallel imports. About it informs RIA Novosti, citing a source in the industry.

The list includes such brands as Renault, Ford, Kia, Mazda, Hyundai, Genesis, Dacia, Citroen, Opel, Peugeot, Isuzu. The department has already sent the corresponding document for approval to the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation. Moreover, the association “Russian Automobile Dealers” previously proposed expanding the list to include these brands.

“This decision will help reduce the shortage in the mass segment in the Russian automotive market,” added to associations.
