The Russian Ministry of Finance commented on the information published by RBC this week on financing government agencies in new regions of Russia in the amount of 1.9 trillion rubles. The department clarified the planned amount – 22.4 billion rubles in the “horizon” of the next three years, about which today, May 16 informs TASS.
“In connection with the publication of an article by RBC on financing the activities of federal government agencies in new regions of Russia, we inform you that the information is not true. In particular, budget allocations in the amount of 22.4 billion rubles are planned for the functioning of the territorial bodies of federal executive bodies in the territories of the new constituent entities of the Russian Federation for three years. – confirmed in the press service of the Ministry of Finance.
The department also clarified that “including the Federal Tax Service of Russia – 8.2 billion rubles, the Treasury of Russia – 3.1 billion rubles and Rosreestr – 2.2 billion rubles”. Other federal state bodies on the territory of the new subjects will receive budget allocations of up to 70.5 billion rubles for three years. The amount will be distributed among government agencies until the completion of the budget process, but the final decisions of the government and the president are still needed.
