The Ministry of Emergency Situations explained the hacking of a false announcement of an air alert in the Sverdlovsk region

The announcement of an air alert, previously distributed on the air of Sverdlovsk TV channels and radio stations, is false and does not correspond to reality. In the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Sverdlovsk Region reportedthat the information about the air raid sounded because of the hacking of the channels’ servers.

Similar messages were broadcast on radio and TV channels on February 28 in the Urals, as well as the Crimea, Moscow and Voronezh regions. Then the Ministry of Emergency Situations also announced the hacking of the servers of radio stations and TV channels.
