In February, mobile laboratories carried out 121 visits to monitor air quality, surface water and noise levels. This is almost 2.5 times more than planned. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Ecology of the Moscow Region.
“Atmospheric air quality checks at the request of citizens remain a priority,” said Tikhon Firsov, Minister of Ecology and Nature Management of the Moscow Region.
He said that 28 trips were carried out after considering complaints from residents of Voskresensk, Leninsky, Volokolamsky, Odintsovsky, Krasnogorsk, Losino-Petrovsky, Serpukhov, Balashikha, Dmitrovsky and other districts.
Another 13 field trips were carried out by specialists at the request of the State Environmental Supervision Department. As a result of inspections, the department sent 14 documents on the need to organize work to prevent negative impacts on nature. The Ministry controls each case and makes sure that all violations are eliminated.
A modern boiler house in the Dulevo microdistrict in Orekhovo-Zuyevo will start working on March 30. Heat will come to the homes of almost two thousand people, said the governor of the Moscow region Andrey Vorobyov.
