The Ministry of Defense reported three drones shot down over the Smolensk region

Ministry of Defense reportedthat at about 08:00 Moscow time, an attempt by Ukraine to attack objects on Russian territory using an aircraft-type UAV was stopped. As noted in the report of the defense department, three Ukrainian UAVs were shot down over the territory of the Smolensk region by air defense systems on duty.

Yesterday, November 16, Secretary of the Security Council Nikolai Patrushev said that in connection with the increasing frequency of attacks from Ukraine in all regions of the Central Federal District (CFD), air defense was strengthened, as well as patrolling of critical facilities.
