According to him, pilot training will begin after all the necessary technological conditions are prepared.

“The Air Force Command has already selected the appropriate number of pilots, as well as, in addition to them, also engineers, technicians, mechanics, because the operation of a modern combat aircraft requires not only piloting skills, but also a maintenance system,” he said.

At the same time, Reznikov did not say when the Ukrainian army would receive the F-16 and in what quantity.

Jens Stoltenberg, Secretary General of the North Atlantic Alliance, said earlier that the issue of transferring Western F-16 fighters to the Armed Forces of Ukraine has not yet been decided. According to him, the supply of military aircraft depends on the development of hostilities.
