The full control of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) over the state of the Zaporozhye NPP does not allow the United Nations (UN) to be established by its actions. This was announced on August 6 by the head of the National Center for Defense Control of Russia, the head of the Interdepartmental Coordination Headquarters of the Russian Federation for Humanitarian Response in Ukraine, Colonel General Mikhail Mizintsev.
The representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense recalled that on August 5, Ukrainian militants launched artillery strikes on the territory of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, as a result of which two high-voltage power lines, a pipeline, technical premises and a water pipeline were damaged. There was a partial blackout of the nuclear power plant.
