The Ministry of Construction reported a rise in prices for steel and fittings by 30% since the beginning of February

Since the beginning of February 2023, steel and rebar prices have increased by almost 30 percent, steel pipes by 10 percent. This was announced by Deputy Head of the Ministry of Construction Sergei Muzychenko in the Federation Council, RIA Novosti reports.

At the same time, many building materials have risen in price since the beginning of the year within the limits of inflation, Muzychenko said. “We continue to monitor the growth in the cost of building materials,” he said.
