The military called the main difficulty for the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the battle for the Crimea

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are planning an attack on the Crimea, but serious losses await them, since the path passes through the steppe, where it is impossible to hide, as well as a seriously prepared Russian defense line. Vasily Dandykin, a veteran of military operations, captain of the first rank of the reserve, spoke about this in an interview with URA.RU.

They tried to conduct reconnaissance in force. Two companies with equipment died. There is also a steppe part – there is no hiding place. Plus, in the steppe, taking into account our serious defense that we created there, ”explained Vasily Dandykin.

The captain of the first rank recalled that the path to the Crimea lies through the direction of Svatovo-Kremennaya, where the Armed Forces of Ukraine are suffering huge losses. “Svatovo-Kremennaya is a forest. As they call it, the cursed forest. Because there they suffer huge losses, ”Dandykin emphasized.

Earlier, Deputy Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Vadym Skibitsky said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine were preparing a spring counteroffensive against Russia. The plans include the capture of the Crimea, the destruction of military depots and airfields of the Russian Federation.
