The mayor’s office of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug will give residents an ice town for 10.5 million rubles

The authorities of Labytnanga (Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug) announced a competition to find a contractor for the construction of ice towns on Vladimir Naka Square, near the city administration and in the village of Kharp. According to the auction data on the government procurement portal, the mayor’s office is ready to spend a little more than 10.5 million rubles on the arrangement of New Year’s locations.

“The object of the purchase is the implementation of work on the construction of an ice town in the municipal district of the city of Labytnangi, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. The initial maximum contract value is 10,511,000 rubles. The customer is the administration of the city of Labytnangi. The Contractor must ensure the creation of the following ice facilities: V. Naka Square, town. Kharp, Peace Square, Administration Square of Labytnangi,” according to the documents on the portal.

The theme of the ice town is “Tales of A.S. Pushkin.” All objects and figures must be decorated with decorative and artistic lighting. On the central square there will be a New Year’s tree, a composition “Musicians”, “Symbol of the Year Dragon”, a photo zone in the form of a throne, six figures, a “Labyrinth” attraction and three slides. All compositions will be made of ice, and the slides will be combined with wooden elements. A city symbol in the form of a snowflake will be installed in Kharp. There are only two slides planned, and there are no ice figures. Three ice compositions will be installed near the administration: the city symbol “Snowflake”, the coat of arms of Labytnangi and the coat of arms of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. The construction of ice towns must be completed no later than December 15.

Earlier, the authorities of Gubkinsky (Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug) signed a contract for the development of six ice towns worth 21.2 million rubles. The contractor must develop visualizations of the towns, design, install ice structures, maintain them in proper condition and then dismantle them. According to the documents, all objects must appear no later than December 10, 2023.
