The administration of Aleksandrovsk in the Perm Territory announced the need to demolish the building of kindergarten No. 2. In response to the indignation of local residents, officials presented their arguments on the VKontakte social network.

“In June 2022, the administration staff inspected the building and drew up an act with the conclusion that its further operation poses a threat to the life and health of the population. The new owner, having examined the building with the involvement of an expert organization, also came to the conclusion that it was impossible to further exploit it and demolish it,” writes the mayor’s office. Documents and photographs are attached to the post as proof of the accident rate of the building.

The building was built in 1951 and has never been overhauled inside. The city administration notes that the repair of the roof and facade in 2012 did not help stop the process of destruction, and six years later the garden was closed. For several years the building stood unattended and unheated and became unsuitable for a sports school, which later the authorities gave it at its disposal. It was decided to demolish it by the new owner, who bought it in 2022 from the city authorities.

The publication of the mayor’s office appeared after numerous complaints from citizens who expressed suspicions about the illegality of the dismantling, and the post of deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Perm Territory, Dmitry Kozhanov. He called the demolition of the building vandalism and said that he had applied to the regional prosecutor’s office with a request to conduct an inspection.
