The Mayor of the YaNAO announced an increase in the number of snow removal equipment

In Novy Urengoy (YaNAO) it is planned to increase the number of snow removal equipment. Mayor Andrei Voronov announced this, noting that he personally controls the work of contractors.

“We are working on cleaning [снега] was engaged not only in our municipal enterprise. Let’s see in the summer, most likely we will come to the conclusion that we will need additional involvement of third-party organizations to clean up the city. <…> We are engaged in the purchase of new equipment. <...> Contractors work everywhere: I go out myself, I check, including on weekends and night shifts, ”said Voronov. The live broadcast was conducted on the mayor’s page on the VKontakte social network.

Now three companies are additionally involved in cleaning. Voronov noted that it is impossible to simultaneously increase the number of vehicles on the streets of the city, the work is being done gradually. The mayor thanked the townspeople for their help – the residents of Novy Urengoy are actively writing about problem areas in social networks.

Earlier it was reported that in Salekhard, an acute situation with snow removal has developed in the Brusnichny and Pervomaisky microdistricts. The mayor of the district capital Alexei Titovsky personally checked the city streets.
