The situation in Nova Kakhovka is calm. This was announced by the mayor of Nova Kakhovka Vladimir Leontiev.

“New Kakhovka. 22:00. Everything is absolutely calm. All utilities are in place. Electricity, water, gas, internet, everything is there. No panic. Tomorrow everyone is back to work!” — quoted Mayor of Novaya Kakhovka Vladimir Leontiev in the telegram channel of the administration of the Novokakhovka urban district.

Earlier, VGTRK war correspondent Yevgeny Poddubny, as well as many telegram channels, began to disseminate information about the start of the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At the same time, Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, could not confirm the information about the offensive in the Zaporozhye direction. Later, the Ministry of Defense refuted the information about the breakthroughs of the defense in the special operation zone.
