Russian special operation in Ukraine
Four volunteers from the Priuralsky district of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug are sent to the zone of a special military operation. This was announced by the head of the district Ivan Sakal in his telegram channel.
“I met over a cup of tea with the residents of the Urals, who made a worthy decision to defend the country,” Ivan Sakal wrote on the social network. He presented the volunteers with basic necessities and wished the heroes patience and fortitude.
Earlier, URA.RU reported that a volunteer from Novy Urengoy told what he was doing in the special operation zone. Residents of Yamal support the servicemen with the necessary hygiene items, food and household items. College students make items of military equipment for fellow countrymen.
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of a special military operation on February 24, 2022. Tasks to protect the population of Donbass and territories that became part of Russia as a result of referendums are carried out by both partially mobilized and volunteers from all regions of the country.
