In Moscow, the ex-general director of Aviatika LLC, Igor Pyankov, was arrested in connection with the theft case at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. The court sent Pyankov to a pre-trial detention center for two months.
“In relation to Igor Pyankov, choose a preventive measure in the form of detention. Until January 8, 2024,” TASS reports from the Zamoskvoretsky Court in Moscow.
The ruling of Judge Larisa Semenova notes that Pyankov is suspected of corporate theft in the creation of software for the shipbuilding industry. The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation is recognized as the injured party in this case.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade previously announced that they would begin to create a database of unscrupulous manufacturers and suppliers of industrial products. The list will include companies with administrative penalties and convictions in criminal cases in the field of illegal trade in goods.
