The librarian of the Kherson school hid “The Tale of Igor’s Campaign” and other Russian books from the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The librarian of secondary school No. 51 in the city of Kherson hid “The Tale of Igor’s Campaign” and other Russian books from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was stated by the head of the library of the educational institution Olga Tsaregradskaya.

“I’m new here, when I got acquainted with the library, I found a lot of Russian literature. Many thanks to the librarian who used to work here before me, he just hid these books. There are a lot of books that I didn’t expect to find here: “Heroes of Russian epics” , “The Tale of Igor’s Campaign”, various encyclopedias, “- leads her words to RIA Novosti.

Tsaregradskaya added that for one year, when the Russian language was canceled at the school and only Ukrainian was taught, such literature was “irrelevant.” Moreover, the Ukrainian authorities called for such books not to be on the shelves at all. The woman separately emphasized that a good librarian had worked before her. According to her, at the moment, Russian-language literature has been returned, it is placed next to Ukrainian, and schoolchildren have a choice.
