Such a bill was developed and sent to the Government for an opinion by the State Duma deputies from the LDPR faction, deputy head of the faction Yaroslav Nilov said in his Telegram channel.
Now the sum of the lump-sum payment at the birth of a child is 20,472 rubles. The bill proposes to amend Article 12 of the law “On State Benefits to Citizens with Children”, according to which it will increase to 30,000 rubles. It is assumed that if the document is adopted, it will enter into force on February 1, 2024.
The adoption of such a bill will improve the well-being of Russian families, which will help improve the demographic situation, the explanatory note to the document notes.
