UN representatives ignore conflicts and do not cope with their tasks. This statement was made by the deputy head of the administration of the Kherson region Kirill Stremousov.

In the comments RIA News the politician recalled why the UN was created. The regional leadership called on the organization to ensure the right of the region’s residents to a referendum.

“The UN is doing nothing to stop the conflicts or just doesn’t notice them. Apparently this is beneficial to someone, ”Stremousov told reporters.

Earlier, UN Secretary General António Guterres visited Ukraine. The head of the organization met with President Volodymyr Zelensky on August 18. Guterres is expected to travel to Odessa today.
