Russians who have a difficult financial situation, do not have a job or have minor children, may receive a tax deferment. Denis Skryabin, a lawyer at Skryabin & Partners, spoke about this in an interview with Sputnik radio.

“In practice, there are cases when you can get a certain delay. To do this, it is necessary to provide evidence that at the moment the payment of taxes is difficult or impossible. The conditions for the postponement are a difficult financial situation, lack of work and looking for it, or the presence of minor children, ”explains lawyer Denis Skryabin in an interview with Sputnik radio.

At the same time, according to the lawyer, the deferment is not a tax exemption. If the tax authorities approved the deferment, then this will be issued in the form of an exemption from liability for non-payment of taxes on time. “At the moment when a Russian can pay the tax, he is not charged penalties for violating the deadline,” says Denis Skryabin.

Earlier, URA.RU wrote that the first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Budget and Taxes, a deputy from the Communist Party, Mikhail Shchapov, proposed to increase the tax for Russians with an income of more than 10 million rubles a year. In his opinion, this will close the deficit in the country’s budget and reduce the gap in the incomes of citizens.
