The incidence of HIV infection in the Perm region decreased by 29%. This data is provided by the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor.

“The incidence of HIV infection in the Perm region has decreased by 29%. For 9 months of 2023, the HIV incidence rate was 46.5 versus 65.5 per 100 thousand population for the same period in 2022,” the department reported.

Rospotrebnadzor specialists note that 95% of all patients receive the necessary treatment and are under dispensary observation. Earlier, the department announced the most common method of transmission of HIV infection in the Kama region.
