The transportation of the icon earlier became the reason for the removal from the service of the archpriest Leonid Kalinina, who served as chairman of the expert council on church art, architecture and restoration of the Russian Orthodox Church. The archpriest urged not to transport the Trinity icon.

Formerly Kalinin was hospitalized with a heart attack.
