The government of the Kurgan region had comments on the work of the housing and communal services department of the city administration and its director, Roman Medvedev. In particular, claims arose due to sewer systems in the Vostochny and Zaozerny microdistricts. This was reported to URA.RU by a source associated with the regional authorities.
“Starting sewers is the direct work of the department. Objects do not work because they were made with errors. They need to be fixed by contractors or additional money needs to be allocated. Medvedev should deal with all this,” the source said. Also, according to his information, a few days ago a tour of the facilities took place with the participation of Deputy Governor Konstantin Malyshev and Mayor Elena Sitnikova, at which they inspected the facilities being repaired and the work of housing and communal services in the presence of Medvedev himself.
Earlier, URA.RU wrote that residents of apartment buildings in the Eastern microdistrict in Kurgan will remain for another year without a sewer connection. Initially, it was planned to complete the work at the end of 2020, but then the deadline was postponed. City Hall officials have repeatedly clarified that apartment buildings in Vostochny will be connected to the sewer system after their residents decide at meetings to organize the work and find a contractor to connect their house to the general sewer system. It was also reported that KNS-14, which connects the sewerage system of this part of the city with the central sewerage system, was being repaired in Zaozerny. The repairs were carried out with money from the Tyumen budget. The amount of financing was 219 million rubles.
