The highway between the cities of Antakya and Iskenderun was destroyed after two earthquakes in a row

Part of the route connecting the Turkish cities of Antakya and Iskenderun collapsed after another tremor. About it informed TV channel TRT. In Antakya itself, several buildings that survived the earthquakes from 6 to 7 February collapsed.

In turn, the NTV channel informs on the evacuation of patients from the only Mustafa Kemal University hospital operating in Iskenderun. We are talking about preventive measures, since there was no information about the destruction in the medical facility. The staff transported the sick to a field hospital deployed nearby.
