The head of VTB revealed whether the dollar will return to 100 rubles

VTB CEO Andrei Kostin said that the dollar will not return to 100 rubles before the end of the year. According to him, the rate will be around 90 rubles.

“I don’t see any basic grounds for strengthening the ruble. I don’t think that it will reach 100 rubles again before the end of the year, it will float around 90-90+,” Kostin said on the sidelines of the VTB forum “Russia Calling!” His words are reported by RIA Novosti.

Kostin explained that the ruble strengthened due to an increase in the key rate and administrative measures on the sale of foreign currency by exporters. At the same time, he noted that there are no grounds for further strengthening of the ruble.
