Elena Zlenko does not want to leave the post of senator from the YNAO in the Federation Council. The senator is not satisfied with the option proposed to her by the head of the region Dmitry Artyukhov – moving to Salekhard and the post of deputy governor, which is now occupied by Buchkova. This was reported to URA.RU by a source in the establishment.
“Zlenko is not going to retire or move to Salekhard. In fact, for her, leaving the senators for deputy governors is a downgrade in status, ”the source said. According to an insider, she was negotiating with Chairman Valentina Matvienko about her retention in the Federation Council. This may correct the plans of Artyukhov, who allegedly was going to change places for Zlenko and Buchkova.
