Hungarian Defense Minister Christoph Szalai-Bobrovnicki held talks with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. This was stated by the press secretary of Prime Minister Viktor Orban Bertalan Havasi.

The dialogue took place after the freezing of transit through the Druzhba oil pipeline towards Budapest. It was carried out by the Ukrainian side, the MTI agency reports.

Earlier, the Hungarian government said Orban was convening a security council on Tuesday evening after the oil pipeline was shut down. According to the Russian company Transneft, the pumping of black gold through the Druzhba in the direction of Hungary has been suspended due to a voltage drop.
