The head of the health department of the Kurgan region, Alexey Sigidaev, gathered doctors for a meeting on the development of oncology services in the region. Sigidaev reported the results of the discussion on his page on the social network VKontakte.

“I continue to inform you about the work carried out to develop the oncology service in the Kurgan region. Today there was a regular meeting, which we held with the management of the oncology clinic, with the main freelance specialists, with representatives of the Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund,” stated in the post on Sigidaev’s page.

It is reported that during the meeting, doctors determined an action plan that would help analyze the problems existing in the Kurgan region. Sigidaev explained that at the meeting they also updated the work plan of the oncology service, taking into account the shortcomings that were found during the inspection of the Blokhin National Medical Research Center of Oncology. At the meeting, Kurgan doctors also received recommendations from the Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund for revising the clinical and statistical group of diseases (a group of diseases related to the same profile of medical care and similar in the methods used for diagnosing and treating patients).

Earlier, URA.RU wrote that the head of the Kurgan Department of Health, Alexey Sigidaev, was convening a council of elders. Then at the meeting they discussed the modernization of medicine and a program to increase the birth rate.
