Elections 2023
On October 10, at a meeting of the bureau of the Tyumen regional branch of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, its head Tamara Kazantseva raised the issue of violation of the charter by deputy Sergei Pykhalov. He was elected on the list of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation to the Tyumen City Duma and did not fulfill the decision to hire him as an assistant to a party activist. Pykhalov faces expulsion from the ranks at the plenum of the regional branch. Tamara Kazantseva reported this to URA.RU.
“We have created a commission to review Pykhalov’s personal file. The plenum will decide whether to expel him or not, I will not be the only one to decide. According to the rules, we can expel you from the party. In Khabarovsk in 2021, two deputies of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation faction were expelled, who did not comply with such a resolution,” said Tamara Kazantseva.
She recalled that earlier the party had decided to encourage candidates for deputies from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation who did not qualify in single-mandate constituencies. Their candidacies had to be approved by the deputies elected to the Duma by their assistants.
The head of the Communist Party faction in the Tyumen City Duma, Sergei Pykhalov, refused to answer questions from a URA.RU correspondent about the situation with his personal file. A faction of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation consisting of two deputies was registered on October 9.
