The Governor of Primorsky Krai, Oleg Kozhemyako, called for the cancellation of holidays due to partial mobilization in the country. This is reported by the official website of the Primorsky Territory Administration.

“There are sporting events, there are days of the city, there are celebrations of heroes. Hold solemn meetings, congratulate people. But do it modestly and with dignity. No need for magnificent fireworks, fireworks, concerts in the squares. The people were given notices. <...> I ask all heads, relevant ministries and departments to respond appropriately, ”he said during a meeting with the heads of the municipalities of Primorsky Krai.

Explaining his proposal, the governor emphasized that many are currently sent to serve, and it would be inappropriate to hold festive events at the moment. But he clarified that it makes sense to hold sports and patriotic events.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense clarified the procedure for conducting partial mobilization in the country. During the special operation, citizens of those categories that are needed to complete tasks will be called up, including shooters, tankers, artillerymen, drivers, driver-mechanics, writes RT.

Russia has introduced partial mobilization in the country since September 21, in connection with the conduct of a special operation in Ukraine. The main goal of the special operation, according to Russian President Vladimir Putin, is to protect the civilian population of Donbass from genocide by the Kyiv regime.
