The head of the city district of Khimki, Dmitry Voloshin, checked the progress of the overhaul of the road on Spartakovskaya Street. In total, more than 95 thousand square meters of asphalt will be replaced in the district during the summer.
“This year we will lay almost 12 kilometers of new asphalt. Here, on Spartakovskaya, we are replacing the roadway, pavement and curbstone throughout the street. We will install new road signs, draw fresh markings, and equip a new stop pavilion. We plan to complete the work by the end of June,” Voloshin said.
The overhaul is carried out in two stages. At the moment, specialists are updating the road in the village of Zhilino, the quarters of Svistuha and Vashutino, the exit at the end of Pervomaiskaya Street and Spartakovskaya Street.
As part of the second wave, sections on Mayakovsky Street in Skhodnya, in Kommunalny Proezd, in the village of Savrasovo and on Ivanovskaya Street will be renovated. All roads are being repaired using “Euroasphalt”. Support during the work is provided by the Ministry of Transport of the Moscow Region.
The head of the district also reminded about patching. Since the beginning of the year, workers have eliminated more than 10 thousand problems on the roads, the plan has been fulfilled by 95%. In the summer, experts will remove the pits, which were additionally identified during supervisory inspections.
