The head of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Dmitry Artyukhov, appointed former deputy governor Tatyana Buchkova as his representative. According to URA.RU, a source in the regional establishment, in order to retain her post in the government, Buchkova will have to pass a difficult exam for the governor – to prepare the region for the international forum in Moscow.

“Tatyana Buchkova took over the post of representative of the governor. Artyukhov entrusted her with preparing Yamal for participation in the international exhibition “Russia” to see if she could handle it. Otherwise, there is a possibility that the government will say goodbye to her,” the source said.

The government confirmed Buchkova’s appointment to the agency. “Tatyana Viktorovna has been appointed as the governor’s representative with the rank of deputy. She is supervising a large project to prepare for the “Russia” exhibition at VDNKh,” the press service responded.

Earlier, URA.RU reported that Governor Dmitry Artyukhov elected a new government. It did not include the former deputy governors – Tatyana Buchkova, Arkady Bessonov and Alexander Mazharov.
