Spring fires in the Kurgan region 2023
Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Vasil Shaykhraziev will arrive in the Tatar village of Yuldus (Kurgan region) on May 24 to talk with local residents and find out how the republic can help them. This was reported to a URA.RU correspondent by the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science of Tatarstan. The government of the republic has already sent two batches of humanitarian aid to Uldus, and one more is planned.
“Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of Tatars Shaykhraziev Vasil Gabtelgayazovich will arrive in the Kurgan region on May 24. He will visit the village of Yuldus in the Shadrinsk district,” the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science of Tatarstan told URA.RU. The delegation will also bring humanitarian aid.
Earlier, URA.RU wrote that Kurgan fire victims from the village of Yuldus complain that the authorities do not help them. This was reported by Mash, referring to local residents. Before that, it was reported that humanitarian aid had arrived in the burnt village from the congress of Tatars. Several million rubles were collected to help the victims of the fire. It was also reported that children from the village of Uldus would be sent to rest in Tatarstan. In Uldus, seven people died from fires, 228 houses burned down. In total, more than 20 people died in large-scale fires in the region and more than five thousand houses burned down.
