The government has activated quotas for the export of mineral fertilizers

According to an official statement on the website of the Russian Cabinet of Ministers, from June 1 to November 30 this year, Russia will have a quota for the export of mineral fertilizers. Like today, May 29, informs RIA Novosti, we are talking about a total of 16.3 million tons.

“The government has decided to extend the export quotas for mineral fertilizers from Russia. They will be valid from June 1 to November 30, 2023. The resolution to this effect has been signed. The decision taken is aimed at maintaining sufficient volumes of fertilizers in the domestic market. The total volume of the export quota will be more than 16.3 million tons. The Ministry of Industry and Trade has been entrusted with distributing volumes among exporters,” – confirmed by the government.

EADaily clarifies that the quota will not apply to the supply of fertilizers to South Ossetia and Abkhazia.

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry recently spoke about the fate of the Togliatti-Odessa ammonia pipeline Maria Zakharova. According to her, the official Kyiv has been hindering this project for a year, inventing a variety of pretexts.
