The Soviet District Court of Ufa arrested the general director of Bashkiravtodor JSC Ildar Yulanov until December 31, reported “RBC-Ufa” with reference to the press service of the court. The decision on the preventive measure for his alleged accomplices – the former director of Kiwi LLC Irek Sharipov and his deputy Rishat Sammatov – has not yet been made. Ildar Yulanov, Irek Sharipov and Rishat Sammatov are accused of fraud on an especially large scale (Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
According to investigators, in 2021, as part of the implementation of the national project “Safe and Quality Roads,” Bashkiravtodor and Kiwi entered into contracts for the transportation of construction materials for the reconstruction of the Birsk-Tastuba-Satka road in the Karaidel district of the republic. False invoices were produced for supposedly rendered transportation services, which the customer accepted and paid for without actually performing them. According to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation (ICR), more than 91 million rubles were stolen from the budget of Bashkiravtodor (the controlling stake belongs to the republic).
The accused were detained. Their homes and workplaces were searched, documents, cash totaling more than 4.5 million rubles, two Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG cars and 14 premium watches were seized. “Investigators and operatives continue to investigate the economic activities of the joint-stock company with a view to committing similar crimes,” the ICR said in a statement.
Kiwi LLC was registered in 2021 in Ufa. Owned by Yunys Farrakhov. In 2022, revenue amounted to 948.6 million rubles, net profit – 104.7 million rubles.
JSC Bashkiravtodor is the largest road contractor in Bashkiria. The controlling stake belongs to the Ministry of Land and Property Relations of the Republic, the second stake was transferred to the state investment company Regional Fund. In 2022, with revenue of 11.1 billion rubles. The company’s net profit amounted to 29 million rubles.
