Former head doctor of the mental hospital in Ozersk Kichatov was arrested for bribes
Vladimir Kichatov, the former head of the mental health clinic at Federal State Budgetary Institution Clinical Hospital No. 71 in Ozersk (Chelyabinsk region), accused of taking bribes, was allowed to use his own car. A source in the judicial system reported this to URA.RU on November 29.
“The resolution of the Ozersky City Court to seize Kichatov’s apartment and car has been changed. The ban on the exploitation of seized property was excluded from the resolution. That is, Kichatov can use the car. But as for selling or renting it, the ban remains on this,” the source said.
According to the insider, the situation with the car was comical. Despite permission to use it, Kichatov will not be able to get behind the wheel: a preventive measure in the form of house arrest will not allow him to do this. In case of violation of the restrictions imposed by the court, the measure of restraint may be tightened. Then the permission to live in the apartment will be of no use.
URA.RU contacted the press service of the regional court. It was not possible to get a comment there.
Kichatov was detained at the end of July. A month before his arrest, he wrote a letter of resignation. The doctor was accused of taking bribes and was sent under house arrest. According to investigators, he received money from residents. For this, he left their relatives in a mental hospital for long-term treatment.
During the investigation, we were able to identify at least three bribe-payers. Among them is a local theater actor, whose father Kichatov helped get his father into a dispensary for money.
