The fire of a passenger car as a result of an accident in St. Petersburg led to the death of two people

The car caught fire after a collision with a truck in St. Petersburg. Two people were fatally injured, according to a statement from the regional department of the Russian Emergencies Ministry.

The tragedy occurred on Monday morning, March 20, at the intersection of Rubezhnoye Highway and Pontoon Passage. The drivers of the Scania truck and the loaf-type car did not notice each other, which led to a collision of vehicles.

As noted in the department, as a result of an accident, the passenger car ignited. According to preliminary information, there were two people in the cabin – both died.

Earlier, an accident with victims occurred in the Kuzbass city of Belovo. Six people were injured after two vehicles collided.
