The Finnish Foreign Ministry announced a reduction in the number of visas issued to tourists from Russia


Finland will reduce the number of tourist visas issued to Russians, priority will be given to applicants wishing to visit the country for family reasons, study or work. This was stated today, August 16, by the head of the foreign affairs department of the republic, Pekka Haavisto, on the air of the Yle TV channel.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland has prepared a mechanism to limit the issuance of visas to Russians, according to which the number of ordinary tourist visas will be reduced, and priority will be given to those traveling for family reasons, study or work,” — quotes the words of Haavisto TASS.
