In Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, the family of Yuri Kostyuchenkov, a grenade launcher from the village of Peregrebnoye, who died during a special military operation, was awarded the Order of Courage. Sergey Zaplatin, head of the Oktyabrsky district, announced this on his telegram channel.

“Today, on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, together with the military commissar, they presented the Order of Courage to the parents of Yuri Kostyuchenkov, our countryman from the village of Peregrebnoye, who died during the NMD. In May 2022, he left as a volunteer, served as a grenade launcher, ”wrote Zaplatin.

Kostyuchenkov died heroically on August 1, 2022 in the battle near Andreevka. Zaplatin expressed gratitude to the parents of the deceased. “Kowtow to you. We are proud to have such people among us. The memory of Yury will forever remain in our hearts. We will always set his feat as an example for the younger generation,” added Zaplatin.

Earlier, URA.RU wrote about the awarding of the Order of Courage to the widow of Danila Kim, a member of the NWO, who died from the Beloyarsky district. The award was presented by the head of the district Sergey Manenkov.
