The ex-head of the ROC Zhukov described the results of the season for Spartak with the word “average”

Former President of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) Alexander Zhukov summed up the 2022/23 RPL season for Spartak. The newspaper took a comment from a fan of the red and white “Sport Express”.

Zhukov noted the clear advantage of “Zenith” and “in fact, the struggle in the second part of the season for 2-3rd place.” He added that Spartak started the championship successfully and played well before the break.

“What one word could describe this season for Spartak? Mediocre,” — Zhukov said in an interview.
